Today, our two flagship seminars in France are TransformaCtion and FLAM (Femininity, Leadership, Authority and Masculinity). The first focuses on the transformation of roles and institutions, while the second deals more specifically with the issue of gender and the systemic tensions this causes.
We have also put in place a training programme concerning the field of consultancy, aimed at both consultants and managers: Leading Consultation.
Finally, in conjunction with other associations, we organise seminars on the same themes, essentially in Europe and Latin America.

1.TransformaCtion

TransformaCtion offers practical and unique methodology based on learning from experience and the consideration of the unconscious, with the purpose to experience new ways for members to hold their role and to discern better the working system they belong to.

It is the matrix international conference of The International Forum for Social Innovation (IFSI).

Its primary task is to create a temporary learning institution, but yet vibrant for the duration of the event.

Its foundations are based on the articulation between the person and the collective and on the necessity for the transformation of institutions over time, as a pre-requisite for their sustainability. This process assumes that each of its members, who are both operators and cogs in the working system, undertake to transform their own role.

To this end, the seminar seeks to give members the means to explore their "being-to-the institutional world." The aim is therefore to promote awareness of conscious and unconscious dynamics that determine the real role they hold, and the bounds they develop with their colleagues.

The decision to participate comes from the desire to take better one's authority and leadership, in order to become author of social innovation and institutional transformation, back to one's working system.

Managers, consultants, psychologists, artists, entrepreneurs, engineers, doctors, TransformaCtion is aimed at every type of profession and institution.

Finally, IFSI proposes a limited number of grants each year to enable young professionals and citizens from Southern countries to take part in the conference. In today's global world, this allows IFSI's members to work together on the complexity of relations with Others, taking into account and using differences (gender, nationality, activity, skin colour, religion, social origin or generation) as a plus for the success of their institution.

3. Leading Consultation

A. The goals of Leading Consultation

Leading Consultation is an international programme lasting eighteen months and organised into 6 workshops (usually from January to June of the following year), alternating with consultancy missions and possible research work in partnership with the Bath University School of Management. Our purpose is to train consultants in Institutional Transformation, and particularly to take into account the the consultancy aspect of all management activities.

Our goal is to enable managers to acquire the working methods, vision and reflexes to better serve their own institutions and the teams they are responsible for; the challenge is to broaden their understanding of institutional systems.

Indeed, developing a manager's consultancy skills is a genuine source of added value, whatever his or her field, specific profession (manager, consultant, expert, etc.) and the applicable scope (politics, economics, education, associations, etc.).

This programme is aimed at consultants who wish to extend their scope of operations, as well as company directors, managers, high-level civil servants, heads of civil service departments, experts, politicians, university directors, opinion leaders, etc., who wish to perform their tasks more effectively.

The programme is not designed as a training programme for a particular profession but as a learning process in which the capacities of each participant can be developed and transformed.
For managers, Leading Consultation provides the opportunity to consider the essence of their role in more depth: to transform their institution in order to increase its efficiency.
